Key West Triathlon 2014

I personally did this race for Suicide prevention awareness, but I didn't know how to promote it. Anyway.. I recruited my 12 years old niece to swim for me and my nephew was suppose to run for me, but he couldn't make it. I got my friend Julio to fill in and we got first place in the Key West Sprint Coed Relay http://www.multirace.com/TriResultsDetailed.asp?RaceID=828&p=1&c=1&a=1&r=1 a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgctQr4zhkdWCmAamEAngiQx7z5USrv9LKa7ZvsD3g8nCzmduxeihyphenhyphent6Ys9tA_GXWRYZZx6bdwiRbQjlJfKtjtALwZ2q5xyOXnb7c726F4bSHRQOXipxydp2Dvh2Y-vcgsx9WZpFgjkA3M/s1600/P1020122.JPG" imageanchor="1" >

Siblings bike ride. 60th Birthday Celebration

I'm always amazed at what people can do, the siblings and their 2 spouses got together and decided to ride down the Keys. They are from all over so not sure where they started their adventure. Today they started from Marathon, which is 50+ miles to Key West. It is not an easy ride, especially they are not seasoned riders and some are on rental bikes, but they will make it there because they have each other. Always happy to see that cycling can bring family do things together. Rock on cycling siblings very honored that I could help you guys out. From Left to right Joan Ballou, Jane Plummer, Dave Nichols, John Burton, Mary Burton, Jill Nichols, Julie Cartwright and Frank from Georgia (Key West)

Frank

I guess I will see him in the fall, he's heading back to Georgia this coming week. Safe drive back, maybe see you at the six gap ride.

Peter

Even with all the pain he goes through, he still keeps riding. Go Peter ride on...

Sal, one classy cyclist.

Cycling is definitely a humbling sport and I am humbled. I tried to help and pull and that was a big mistake. Thanks for slowing down for me.

Paco

One happy cyclist, see him almost everyday on the bike path. He always say hi!

Jaro,

He finally got a chance to ride again, he's been super busy with work.

David

Another cyclist from NYC. Well.. He's from Missouri, Austin, NYC and now in Key West for a few more weeks. Hope to get to ride with him a few more time before he heads off to his new adventure in Austin. Good luck!

Dale and Janet.

I always see Dale going the opposite direction, and we always wave at each other, but I finally got to meet him and his wife.
